Man these things are awsome but they need some weight in the front and they are very nible way better then the Slash

This site is dead, but figured I'd ask anyway...how did yours go together? Just picked mine up a few minutes ago. Gonna run the same setup as you, but with a red body. Is it pretty straight forward? I've never assembled a kit before. What servo are you using? Do you think a Hi-Tec MG5465 will be ok for it?

Attempted to begin assembly and found that they gave me two bellcranks and no lower servo saver piece. That stopped me dead in my tracks as far as steering rack assembly, so I proceeded to build other parts of the truck. Got to the LHS and surprisingly they had the entire rack #9659 so now I'm back in business...they also shorted me a couple of 4-40 screws but I had them in the parts box.

oh man I am so excited to get mine! it comes in tomorrow anyways its good to hear the kit was easy to assemble because this is going to be my first attempt at building a kit. lookin forward to it.

wondering how the wheels bolt up..... standard T4 fair, with dual bearings in the front rims and single pin in the rear?? or do the rims have hexes??

well i got to see the unmounted tires and rims for the sc10 and they got the 2.0 outer and 3.0 inner, so we guessed it should fit the slash rims or epics, my friend ordered some so we'll see when they come in

Jconcepts have some tires coming out that fit the Slash and the SC10

No, the VXL sits PERFECTLY where he has it mounted. I did mine the same way.
