how do you ha you have it geared for the vxl? Mine is geared 75/25 with no issues.

i had to cut the tabs off the VXL to fit and i think i had it geared at 19/87 and it got hot at 104 degrees

Yea thats what I thought. The taps need to be taken off the vxl so it will fit. well I am having mixed feelings about cutting the tabs of my vxl because I still want to be able to use the vxl in my slash.

You could do what the previous owner of my Slash did. Take a dremel and cut off the mounting posts for the esc, making the esc area flat. Sand it down smooth, and then just use servo tape for mounting the esc. I have the esc, Slash receiver box, and receiver all mounted with servo tape and they aren't going anywhere. This way you can cut the tabs off to run the esc in the SC10, or when you want to put it back in the Slash just use servo tape.

hmm. good ideas just dont have a dremel but ill consider taking my slash to my lhs and asking if they could do that mod for me sense i dont have the tools necessary for the job.

So i got another question for you guys. I have a servo from an rc10 nitro from like 5 years ago its an ACE 1903 will it work for the time being. kinda low oon cash.

So i got another question for you guys. I have a servo from an rc10 nitro from like 5 years ago its an ACE 1903 will it work for the time being. kinda low oon cash. I would say you should be fine for the short term, the truck is pretty light and wouldn't require alot of torque to throw it around.
