Yeah, hard to say. This has a full cage that will help keep the body protected, something the Slash doesn't have. Will have more info later this week on the truck, along with some pics. Working on paint and decals right now.

Hey all Just another quick tip cover the front skid plate with 3-M peel and stick chassis protection . It works great at stopping gouges and scuffs from jumps and stuff . It also hides ones that have already been put there lol

Rob I forgot to check that thing out last night. Guess I better remember tomorrow night. I think I'm going to try to get up there a little earlier anyways to test the new style out if I get it done tonight.

Hey guys I speak with darin all the time about the tt pro 2. have faith it will be worth the wait to get something new on the market that challenges our skills. it looks good it drives a little different than what we are used to, but it will be a good change. i have heard nothing but good reviews on the product. i have been waiting for over a year but I have faith in the product that thundertechracing will be releaseing in to our hands. Forget all the other companies that are trying to copy what they started. Jason k

I did finally check it out last night. It looks cool, some features not sure about, but can't be avoided. But still the body, yeah it can be fixed with glue but that is tacky at least my opinion. Don't care for the front end design that much to flat but the rear end looks cool. But the body in general feels like it is made out of paper. The paper we print out batch cards on feels thicker. Liek I said before the intent is cool. But I would think a thicker better body would be better, and as stated before come up with a design that would let the front and rear fenders fall off but be reattachable.

could you imagine the cost involved in getting a body model that had 5 individual pieces so it could fall apart and then be put back together. Does anyone here have any business sense at all. small company putting it all on the line to change the market and put something new out there and you guys complain about the body. i race 1/8 CEN truggy and the body always gets destroyed and those bodies cost any where from $35 to $55 dollars.

Yeah its not the end of the world. I bet if its that big of a deal to someone they could get something else to fit just fine, like maybe the Losi Desert Truck body.
I need to get with Darin and get a bulkhead, I really want to drive this thing some more. The few minutes I ran it, I was very impressed, Its a lot more stable then you would think. I want to get it to the track and run some laps, since we now have 10" of snow on the ground outside...
