How is the motor going to get good airflow with the body and panels around it. that's exactly what everyone said about TCs when they first came on the scene, especially with their high amp draw because of the extra running gear compared to 2wd pan cars..... .... amazingly, with a little ingenuity, where there's a will there's a way

..... it certainly captures the real look tho. which, I would venture to guess, would/should have been the whole point of the project ;D

are these better than the slash?

that depends - to me they're "different" and never intended to be the same the slash is based off traxxas' exisiting Centepede/Rustler platform (kinda a redesign) - while the ThunderTech truck is an entirely new departure unlike anything out there, and looking at it closely much more true to scale. I plan on having both

are these better than the slash? I don't think so,,I could go on and and on ,telling you why I think this truck is going to be a flop,,but I'll keep it simple and to acouple of major factors lets start with the rear axle, altough its really neat and true to scale,I think its all ready been tried a few times and provine not to work in the RC offroad racing world.(unless you're a rock crawler!!!) And then, the steering, Can you say bump steer? who brain stormed that one? did'nt center steering go out like 20 years ago?I know it still works great with onroad cars with no suspension travel, but off-road?? The chassis, just looks cheap and cheesy to me and useing styrene panels and stickers to make it look like "TheRealDeal",,,,I don't think so,,,if I where on the design team,it would have a real tube chassis,,Heavier?who care's,rite?it's a scale thing And then there is the Scale thing,,? where is this truck going to fit-in? this "thing" is going to be tiny, look at the measurements,it does'nt fit in any where,so why would any racer buy one of these?I really doubt they are going to get a spec class for along time to come and the only truck they could really compete with, would be a Mini-T. JMO,but time will tell

I will cover all your points when I do the review on the truck.

Yes, I am excited about this truck because it truly is scale but that's not going to change the way I would write the review.

I can't think of even onerock on Rob, we'll all look forward to reading the TT's review and hearing your thoughts
