Mico Engineering is proud to release their 1/10-scale Rock Crawler Seat kits.
The seats are available in three different materials:
Black ABS Plastic
White ABS Plastic
Aluminium with 2mm foam for upholstery.
The ABS plastic seat kits contain 2 flat seat frames and the front of the seat has a leather-like finish. The seats are shipped flat and the kit builder finishes them by heating the ABS in hot water and bending them to shape. The seats are grooved for easy bending and the seats also have been milled with slots for attaching seat belt webbing. An instruction sheet is included. The seat is 1/10-scale to a rock crawling seat. The kit price is $19.95 (2 plastic seats) on RCGUY.COM.
The aluminum seat kit contains 1 flat aluminum seat frame and 3 pieces of colored 2mm foam. To build this seat the kit builder firsts chooses the color combination that they want and cuts out the foam upholstery material using the templates included in the kit. They then glue the foam in place and bend the seat into its final shape. The aluminum seat is also grooved for bending and has milled slots for seat belt webbing. Full instructions are included. The kit is $19.95 (1 aluminum seat) on RCGUY.COM.
Any of the seats can be covered with a fabric of the builders choice for a closer match to their build.
