Tweaking has started! Got the 2S 5800 in it.  Went to a 20t pinion. Added aluminum shock caps and went 40wt out back.   Curious to see how it does on the track ;D |

Looking good, that should run for a while on that battery.
BTW
I have the same drill, have to get another battery. One of my batteries just won't take a charge anymore.

Looks good Nick. When you do get it out on the track, lemme know how long that pack lasts. I am thinking of getting a bigger 2s LiPo sometime in the near future.

I have a 4500mah 2s lipo, I'm running the Velineon brushless system with a 20t pinion, I get close to 20 minutes of runtime before the lipo does a voltage shutdown.

William, I have two batteries for that drill and they only last for a few minutes. I think I'm in the same boat as you and I don't want to spend the money on the lithium upgrades for them.
Steve, I'd guess 30-40 minutes of hard running. My brother was running it with the 2S 5400 in it for almost 30 minutes without it dropping off.
