i recently had the servo apart as i rounded off the main gear so i was trying to get a metal gear to fit not quite as organised as you ;D

Now for the million dollar question... did the servo live through the operation?

I hate taking apart servos. I tried it with my old Mini LST and it was a nightmare.
Thats pretty cool though, its like putting together a kit.

my pedes in that state to i got board whell i was motor less (its in the mail) now the hard part puting it all back to gether dun dun dun

I had a very HARD landing on the rear bumper which puts a huge amount of shear on the esc. All of the motor sockets disconnected from the main board. I have had this happen on two VXL's. Just got one back from Traxxas. They've updated the design so that the sockets are on leads instead of them being soldered directly to the board. The other one should be back this week.
