Well I think we all need to see how we can recruit some members over to this site so we can get some more guys and action onto the forum. I have been trying to think up some ways of how to do this and the only thing I have come up with so far is to PM a bunch of the guys on the Traxxas forum that own Slashs so they can check out this site. We can do this on other forums to... just need to make sure we dont violate any advertising rules...
Any other ideas?

I think some of the people came over because I have slashracer.com in my sig over at traxxas forums. The more people who have it in their sig, the more people will notice it. I also posted a link in the slash topic at rcca. Just need to hit some more forums. The PM thing is a good idea as well, and I have done that to a couple people. Not sure how effective it was though.

Are we aloud to have that in our sig on Traxxas.com ? Some forums / sites dont like free advertising, but I guess it cant hurt! The RCCA is a great place too as there is a ton of guys there. The RCDriver site has a forum that I have been on for a little while and I know RC Universe has a large forum too.

You know what I thought of, we need some Slash vids on YouTube with the SlashRacer.com banner you made for the intro, bet that would help get some hits. Now just need some vids lol.

That is definatley a cool idea! I will definaltey make a few videos when I get my Slash and will of course put a banner at the beginning and end of the video. Once the site gets going a little more, we might also be able to make a SlashRacer video channel or username on YouTube. Either members or the admin / mods could upload everyones videos for a Slash only video channel... Just an idea  |

Yea about every Slash thread I looked in on RCC I posted a link to the site!!!! I deleted a few of them, we don't allow spamming on RCC. But I did leave a couple of your posts up because we don't mind that. That's why many of us RCCers are here. I think the stickers and videos will make a big difference. I'm gonna put together a few vids myself and I'll put the site name in them. |
