The jury is still out for me on whether or not I'm buying into the bowties, but the ribs definately kill the whole "scale-realism" for me.... at least in my eyes. I'm all for the proline A-arms, hubs, shocks, whatever anybody wants to change out - especially if it adds some bulletproof-ness to the truck - and even some cool things like real beadlocks ..... but when it comes to tires, unless another company (come on Proline, your rubber compounds are far superior) comes out with slash-specific treads that retain the "real" look I'm gonna stay with the stockers.

yeah, the stockers are nice and fairly good over all types of surfaces. Ive driven mine on asphalt, mud, grass, sand (wet and dry) rocks, gravel and even down some railroad tracks. they grip well on all the surfaces and i like em. i do want some of those CAC beadlocks tho.

i am lookin at those too but do you think they will fit right? I test fitted a Proline "eightshooter" beadlock yesterday, and it won't fit on my truck. It rubs against my RPM arms and the top of my TRX uprights.

Yes, I agree, but this is what I came up with until something more specific comes our way. Until then, it works well for me, even though it's not as scale looking as I want. But it looks better to me than running 1/8th scale buggy wheels/tires! I'm thinking about getting one more set of CAC's!

Give the Prolines a whirl...I think you'll be surprised.

do the proline rims rub the castor block or the screw? would they fit with the stock arms?

I have proline eight shooters with geolanders and my front rims rubbed the castor block had to space them out to ge them to work.
