Seems like the Losi DT had a vote or two... Not too scale though.

Seems like the Losi DT had a vote or two... Not too scale though. It depends though on what you call or see as scale, the losi does go for the Desert truck look with the rear cage and the body lines look very clean also, but like i mentioned it depends on each individulas own thoughts, there is also that other 1/10 corr truck from thundertech www.thundertechracing.com/desertracer.htm#CORR this one has one of the fugliest body i have seen but is scale looking. I personally own the dt and a slash, i am waiting for the associated to come out to get one also.

Yeah, that and they're not really to any extent race-worthy. They have more of a following with the rockcrawler crowd.

My mistake, I wasn't initially aware of that one ....... ....but, after checking the manufacturer's website, considering it's based off the TA01/TA02 chassis I think that sorta kills it. but that's my 2-cents worth

Well I think we will just let people use the Other R/C forum for now, and if a particular truck starts to take off there, then we will look at adding a specific forum for it. The Slash, Slayer, and SC8 are going to be the big 3 right now. I hope the Thunder Tech truck is a hit as well so I can add a forum for them.

That's a little unfair to ThunderTech isn't it, since they basically came up with the idea (this time around anyway) and intro-ed them at the Chicago Hobby/Toy Show, and everyone else just jumped on the bandwagon? I agree that it's hard to deny the Slash's popularity, but considering that the SC8 looks to be only nitro 2wd I think they'd yet to prove themselves market worthy let alone attain Big 3 status. ~ my 2-cents worth anyway
