Yep thats the same one ive got. I run it on a venom 7 cell pack. Its very easy to set up it has default settings pre programed into it. Read all the book it comes with befor you run. But to program it all you do is remove the pinninon gear, plug in the battery turn it on then go to full throlle on your transmiter you will hear a tone then the little light will flash then you go to full reverse/break again you will hear the tone then relax the throlle to neutral then the tone plays again and its set. Its pretty straight forward But again read all manuals first. Thanks

I REALLY recommend getting the castle link so you can program it on the computer. That makes things so nice and easy.

I'd just start out at low start up power and zero timing. the motor will take care of the higher speeds for you!
