Ive seen some people putting red or blue sharpie on the bead lock looking part of the stock rims. Does this work well? Like do they get scratched easily? Do they look all stripey? Thanks.

If you bash on road it tends to come off, But I think its more of the plastic of the wheel coming off that couses it. If you only play in the dirt or on track then it will just wear off over time. I've done mine in black and a friend did his in red and I'd say the red stands out way better. But I plan to just save up and get the real beadlocks from CAC, As that is the only way to go once you go brushless. Glue SUXS!!!

I've seen a couple in red and it really does stand out well. Till you crash/scrape it off

On mine I went to the parts store and bought touch up paint and did the beadlocks. So far I have made 15 runs and there is only minor scratching going on.

Or you could just tint them using Rit Fabric Dye any color you like.
