Is the velcro really needed? Mines been torn off for a few runs. All I can tell is that it keeps the body from flapping around and makes it harder to take the body off. I'm thinking of just putting pads on the nerf bar.

From the time it came out of the box, I removed the velcro on the body, and left the soft velcro on the nerfs to keep the body from rattling. I didn't like it on the body.

Put a piece of packaging tape or a decal or ? on the inside of the body.

Oh I thought the velcro held on the nerf bars!!! lol. If it was me i'd do like Rob or like RCbif was saying!!!!!

I replaced the stock crap with 3m velcro and I don't use body pins anymore. very nice!

Yeah mine came off the first time I took the body off. I just dont have it on the body anymore, but keep it on the nerfs like Rob said so it doesnt rattle.
Might try some heavier duty stuff that Salteen mentioned.
