I think mine will be either a VXL or MM 5700 system and to put some stiffer weight in the shocks.

Springs to me are just right for the truck, its the dampening thats too light. Check out my setup for the fix to that in the other forum.

I got the VXL system. On my maxamps 7 cell it was flying...i thought. I bought a maxamps 3s lipo and omg it hauls. Only problem is that when it hits 50 or so, it wheelies and does a few back flips. Definately too fast for anything other than just extreme speed runs. Oh, i also went with rpm arms all around and an rpm spur gear cover, the stock one with a hole in it let a lot of rocks and dirt into my gears.
Also destroyed the differential and had to replace that..just wiht stock though.

RPM cover does fit, just have to modify the rear bumper... I also pickep up a wheelie bar today from stampede from my lhs so ill tell ya how it works out. Pics are hard because if i start taking pics my wife will wonder why, and if I'm spending more money on something that I sohuldn't be lol
I'm gonna do some speed runs, maybe ill get someone from work to record it for me and ill put it up on youtube

oh, i had to dremel the length of the vxl motor shaft to make the cover fit as well, took my a total of maybe 10 minutes to get it installed.

cut the rear tyres in search of more forward bite! and thats stock, i can only imagine how its gna be when i put the velineon in thats in the mail... i already got the 3s lipo too. now i must change the shock oil..
excellent new forum by the way. i was waiting for something like this to start up

I bet cutting the tires made a difference. Might have to find a used set to try that with. For our stock class racing though I have to keep them as is.
