id say box stock! shocks all in the same holes, stock motor, esc, shocks, tires, wheels, springs.. box stock.. just how it came when you opened the box. keep it about the drivers and not the rig. hell.. id almost have everyone run the same pinion gears too... maybe allow different receivers and leave the battery options open but that is it.

i like the rules at rcbif's track. very straightforward. i do like the super stock idea too. run the factory engine and speedcontrol, allow 7 cells or 2s lipos, but run whatever chassis and suspensions you may have. could do a cross over type race too, see who some better drivers are, cus just because you maye be set up with high performace parts, doesnt mean youre a high performance driver

I am all about the super stock class....box stock is a good idea too. but i like to tinker and upgrade and at least the super stock would keep most in the same ballpark. would really let you beef up for bashing but still be able to race if you wanted.

The thing I've found having traveled around and raced here and there --- is that as long as you retain the stock low-traction treads, the rest hardly matters. You can bolt in all the ponies you want, but you still have to put the power to the pavement (dirt). So short of running a high traction track, it's of little use running any of the dirt tracks I've run --- it's still about throttle control and not wrecking. I bolted in a BL in mine, after going through my second titan, but one that's really no faster than the box set-up. All I acheived was less maintenance and upkeep.

Yep, Sure is. We're happy with it & that's what matters!
Does this sound familular? "That sounds more like a rookie or newbie class than an actual racing class. "
That's why the allowed changes....It's meant to be fun,not restricting

see desert racers signigiture?, thats where this is going, ,I think there should be 2 classes, stock, and open mod., stock being stock power train, tire's,and 6 cell/2cell li-po,, open mod is anything goes, but you must retain the stock configuration of the vehicle, open to motor, battery tire's suspension, ect...but all classes, it still must be of the vehicle it was intended to be,meaning, if it's a slash it better look like a slash, and meet the stock demintions!!
