STOCK SLASH CLASS_lipo size

I recently bought a slash and going to race in the stock spec class. I was wondering if some 3200 7.4v 20C lipo's would be big enough to get through the races. I believe they are about 5min each.

It will last the 5 minutes you jsut will not be taking advantage of the full power of the Slash. The battery is what makes a slash "fast" in the stock class. The esc will pull 100 amps and the battery your looking at will only do 64. Which isnt taking full advantage and you will be working the lipo hard.

You want something atleast 100 amps if you want to be competitive.

How you figure out how many amp the battery will so is take the mah which in your car is 3200. Take the first 2 number and put a decimal in the middle and times it by the c rating. 3.2x20=64

A good battery that will be strong and last a long time and will not break the bank would be one of these. There really nice for the price.

Its a 5000 30c so do 5.0x30=150. Thats more then enough for the slash and you will not be overworking the lipo.
