i was going to go to my lhs and get some shock oil so i was wondering what would be a good weight to get and what holes you guys have your shocks in thanks:)

All depends on what you do with it and what terrain you run on. Just asking what other people run isnt going to help you at all.

Shocks sitting at 2nd hole from outside. It handles like a dream right now... Oil is Losi

for really loose dirt/low traction surfaces, i've been running.... front- 30w AE oil, 1-hole TRX piston, 1mm limiter, silver losi springs... rear- 40w AE rear, 2 hole, 3mm limiter, orange losi springs...
for uber black groove ozite i've been running..... front- 50w AE, 1-hole TRX piston, 3mm limiters, black losi springs..... rear- 60w AE, 2-hole TRX, 5mm limiters, blue losi springs...
the slash is one of the very few rc trucks that feel better with heavier oil in the rear than in the front......

I blew out the stock shock caps for the millionth time, and after digging through my parts i found that the firestorm shocks are the same length but a little thinner, i may use them if i don't get the alum. caps on back order at lhs
