1/8 buggy wheels and tires

I am wanting to run the 1/8 buggy wheels and tires on my Brushless Slash, but I have no item where to get the adapters and I am not sure what wheels to get or what tires are the best. I am not gonna be racing it, so I need a tire compound that will hold up o some use.

rc-monster.com has the Fast Lane Machine adaptors for $36.. or if you search ebay you can find the Xtreme Racing ones for $39.99 (search: Slash 17mm).

As for tires.. it depends what your doing.. full out racing.. cant go wrong with something like bowties.. I myself am a basher and running Proline knuckles.. any buggy wheel will work.. some come premounted so you dont have to mess with glue..

Are these the same adapters? I really need these with the VXL system so I dont spin the tires out of the beadlocks

Those will work, but they mess up the width of your car I think.. FLM, Xtreme, and STRC all make ones that provide the proper offsets for front/rear.. try these...

I am using xtreme.. they are ok.. If I had to do it again.. might go with FLM.. Integy also makes them, but they will not work with CVD's (which I run)
