I would like opinions on the toughest body available for the Slash, I'm looking for 2 of them . I'm more of a reserve driver , but my kid beats the living daylights out of his (officially broke every part on his truck once)
ps I'm not too crazy about the Carnage, I hate picking up parts

my vote goes for the jp concepts truth body not sure but it's either as thick, and if not, thicker than the proline bodies. not only that, it has a more unique look to it and not as many people run the body. ive also found that the scoop in the hood actually helps w/ roll over recovery

Proline, J Concepts, and Parma all make bodies for the Slash. I'd research each and see which one has the thickest plastic. My guess would be Proline.

I love the looks of my Carnage body but...ended up gluing the fenders on eventually, so next time it's the Desert Rat or Dare for me. Anybody out there have experience with the Dare yet? Do those fake lights on top get damaged in roll-overs?

im looking at picking up the jconcepts truth body. IMHO, in bashing conditions, i dont think the moulded spotlights on the dare will last long. I really like the look of the dare over the truth, but i need something practical cause i use my slash for racing & bashing. My stock slash body has just about had it. Ive had to modify my rear bodypost mount positions, as the area at the rear bodypost holes has completely come apart.
