like the title says i was at the track yesterday and i had some switches on and they didnt help at all on the hard dusty track so i switched to some 1/8 buggy wheels with some bowties and those did ok but i couldnt get on it too much down the straights or it would kick sideways quick. so does anyone drive on hardpacked but dusty topped ground or tracks and have a tire that grips well?

If I were you since you have the 17mm adapters already get the new wider buggy tires from proline. The V3 revolvers or bowties. Good stuff. As good as its going to get for a 2WD truck.

when it gets dry and dusty no 2wd truck is going to handle that great. sounds like you have some decent tire variety so mabe concentrate on your setup more.
