Well i have had ni cd and nimh since i first got into the hobby around 30 years ago 
, i have been watching from a distance until a couple months ago all the progress on the chargers and batteries technology, mainly lipo applications, so a couple months ago i decided to give these batteries a try, i bought a small pack 1800 mah 3s from John Holmes owner of www.holmeshobbies.com, i was using on a couple of my crawlers, and decided to try it out on my rustler with the bl setup and ;D , i was totally blown away by the size, weight and performance, so i decided that it was time to start the transition into lipo so i bought a 3s 3300 mah and a 2s 4800 mah pack, i also upgraded my chargers and got the new Hyperions with balancer included, i had the older hyperions eos 5i series, i always have a charger for my home and one for the road.
I will do a review when i charge the 2s which i will use on the slash, also wait for a review on the chargers
