I think it depends on what you mean by "better", on a track perhaps. My belief is that the Slash is "better" because it's less expensive, from what I have seen it's nearly indestructable, and frankly it looks (and this is personal opinion) far better asthetically than the SC10. I find the SC10 to be pretty drab, boxy, and boring to watch drive, I don't believe it has the Slash's personality. I'll be keeping my Slash until somebody actually does make something that is "better" and even then, my Slash will be around a long time.

Personally for me I would rather have my truck look like a truck you can find racing around in the CORR Series, and with the cow catcher up front and the big caboose in the back, the Slash ain't that truck.
I have heard nothing but great things about the SC10, something that can't be said about the Slash.

I have heard nothing but great things about the SC10, something that can't be said about the Slash. LOL, I own both trucks and really don't favor one over the other anymore. I used to like the SC10 more, but once the newness of it wears off they are both pretty equal. Not sure where you're hearing bad things about the Slash at, but I haven't heard any. The Slash is just about the toughest truck that's been released in many years. That being said, the only thing I've had to fix on the SC10 is one of the dogbones kept popping out. I put an extra doughnut in the cup and never had an issue since.
