Here are some pics after running a couple packs through it. Overall impressions: handles like a dream! It will absolutely out handle a Slash. (just kidding about the Slash part, but I do love the way it handles). I'm running the Traxxas VXL setup until I can get a Mamba in it. Running a 2 cell 4000 lipo, powers it just fine. Geared at 75/25 with no heat issues, although I think the esc is wonky...I can't wait to take it to the track and see how it jumps, but I did get the front end airborne a few times, seems really light up front. Still need to some trimming and sanding to the body. I love the battery hold down. It's hinged so all you do is unlock two thumb locks and lift the holder up.

It's a great kit for $170, as long as you have the rest of the stuff already.

cool man i had the VXL in mine to it worked good but i end up getting the Novak 8.5 system and it lets you set it up better and now it handles real good i reconmand on getting the Novak 8.5 for the SC10

Yea, I'll probably get a Mamba soon, so I can tune it with Castle Link.

this truck is awesome! how is it stock compareed to the Traxxas slash. How fast can it go???

This truck absolutely runs circles around the Slash...the only area the Slash beats it in is the weight. The SC10 is almost TOO light, especially in the front end.
