what all should you do to sand prep the slash. im guessing i should get an outerwears motor pre-filter. what else should i do? i dont think ill have enough time to get the pre-filter because it would prob. take to long to ship and im ordering new gears for my slash (since they're stripped), so i dont think ill have enough money to get it (the pre-filter). my mom's gonna order it and im gonna give the money to here, since i still dont have a credit card and im still in school. so what should i do to sand prep. it? thanks.

you really don't have to do anything about the 3rd time i drove my slash i drove it at the beach then just hosed it off and it was like new...the only advice is maybe put something over the motor and prepare for it to be COVERED in sand if you go to the beach

Shock Covers are a big plus if in sandy conditions. (still working on them should be ready soon) Also put something like panty hose around the motor or something. Just make sure you have enough room for circulation for air. Maybe put a little more caster in the truck to help the edges dig in a little better.

oops... thats right. unsure why i even said caster. I was thinking of a way to make hubs that I can adjust the caster on maybe that is why I said that.

yea, for like 35 bucks. besides xtreme rc bearings is my sponsor. sponsors products go on your truck to advertise. also xtreme rc bearings are just as good as bad horsie shock covers but are cheaper. i also would rather want bad horsie than outerwears because of the price but they do the same thing. thats why i would like xtreme rc bearings shock covers because of price. but are just as effective.

I'd try and seal your gear cover so sand cant build up in there. Thats like sandpaper grinding through your drivetrain.
