I was recently given the opportunity to try some Moo-Slick R/C Protector-Release agent from cowrc.com/
I have tried many other lube's/protect-ants from other major RC companies but none compares to MOO-Slick and how well it works. This stuff is amazing and it actually works better than advertised.
Honestly I was skeptical before I actually tried it. I first tried it out on some old tires and wheels on my Spec Slash.
I sprayed a very light coat on the parts I wanted to protect. The results were almost instant. The rubber on the tires seemed to put life back into these old tires. They felt as if they were almost new.
After such great results I wanted to try it on a complete vehicle. I have a RC18T that I have been building out of some well used parts. Once I used the MOO-Slick the plastic appeared be almost like new. The parts has a wet look to them. But to the touch it is dry. The Moo-Slick acts like a barrier to dirt and debris.
Overall I feel that this is a great product and I will recommend all racers/basher's and invest in this product. This will keep all of your plastic's and rubber performing and looking like or even better than new.
Also available from is the The " Screw Catcher Mat" is a 60 mil reverse non transferring magnetic surface with convenient part corrals that "herd parts together and keep them there.Durable, easy to clean, matte white work and corral surfaces make it easy to see the tiniest part, reverse magnetic action keeps the parts in-place. These mats are available in both mini and standard sizes. If you need one for you Slash go with the Standard size.
These mats will be the trick with keeping your RC's hardware from being dropped on the floor and getting lost. This is going to save alot of time and effort by keeping you off of your hands and knee's looking for your lost items.
Just think about the last time you lost one of your wheel pins and you had no spares. Well this problem would be avoided it you had this product. I plan on getting one of these in the very near future and I will do a complete write up on it when I use it for a little bit.
