ya im mostly looking for winning setups and tires used things that spec class cant use that give the big boost. has anyone tried ball differentials for the slash? can sumone add what they helped and if they were liked or not worth the money? im just lookin for little things. also would trying to lose weight matter with a lipo and brushless or would it be better spent on something else? whats the opinion on that?

I run brushless & Lipo , also pro-line epics & switch(cut tho). I've tried both Traxxas & MIP's balldiff, Traxxas sucked( to hard to adjust) and the MIP I snaped the screw but it's easier to adjust.

do the switch's do what they say? does it help the rear slide around in corners and still grip down the straight away? what kind of track do you run it in

As in real life, Cutting tires or sipping tires is another slight adjustment for that track at that time(Traction mainly)! Almost any dirt track full size rig will cut tires; Sprint cars, Modified, ect.... and off-road guy's of course will all cut tires for that moment at that time. I also will round off the inner & outer edges of the tire ,so that it will slide and help keep it from sending me into a two wheel deal. The stock tires (Old ones) had a lot of side wall flex, the new ones are less side wall on the inner(low-pro) and stock on the outer! Switch's have a wider foot print(contact patch) and softer in compound ,which means better traction plus with a trained eye in cutting tires can help you with faster lap times! Basically you are making a pin tire.
