Hi all, got my slash two days ago (Amsoil edition ;D) and was wondering if anyone used a water bath or alcohol bath to break the motor in?

I dont but have heard about it,just run it at 2 volts for a while 10-60 min,this motor lasts a long time if taken care of.

If you dont have a charger with volt out,just back your motor off and use your throttle trim adjustment and barely turn until motor runs,sit back and let er rip

I usually use a cell pack and a bath of 1/2 rubbing alcohol and 1/2 water when I do it for my other vehicles. But I'm wondering if anyone has done it and noticed any performance gain with the stock 12T 550 motor?

i have heard of people doing that with the titan and a lot of debris came out!

I didnt break in the motor,I was goin to put a VXl in it as soon I got it...but Im broke so I'll probley get the VXL this Chrismas
