Anyone knows where to get aluminum internals for the diff? , i took it out for some speed passes on asphalt during the weekend and was using the brake a lot and sometimes it went into reverse , and then it started to sound like the spur gear was toast again, i took it apart and the slipper was okey and so was the spur and pinion but the diff made a clicking noise, anyways before i take it apart i might as well get the parts first. Any ideas what are the strongest internals i can get?

Im not sure there is anything out that is stronger then the DT diff right now. Just buy a couple sets of the gears and put some grease in em. The going into Reverse sure doesnt help things :-D

Make sure your slipper is not too tight ,The slipper being set a little loose will help save the gears when going into reverse too quickly too.

I hear you on the slipper advice, the thing is that if i don't tighten almost all the way down i get a lot of slipping on take off, and i want the most power coming out of a turn, there has to better gears for the dt. The "slipping" is in part designed to SAVE the gearbox internals - when landing jumps, and to keep the rear of the truck from wanting to swap ends coming out of a turn. Sounds if you're "wanting" it to do something for which it wasn't designed.

I know what the slipper is for , i have ac ouple other car/trucks that have bl systems and i have been able to buy upgade parts for them so they can "do things they aren't designed to do"
