So, I learned a very valuable lesson today. Faster isn't always a good thing. I just got a new 8.4 7 cell 5000mAh hump pack for the Rusty I built. Well, after about five minutes of some good ol' bashing... this happens. It was like watching an Indy car careen into the wall and fly off. I was almost expecting the parts to fly off, but they didn't. I destroyed some more good RPM products. As you see here... and here.. notice the major damage done to the end area of the RPM rear arm. I'm not sure of the speed when I hit the railroad tracks, but it was pretty fast. As far as i can tell the only broken parts are the right front axel carrier(where the toelink connects) the right rear carrier(completly destroyed) and the right rear A-arm(it wont be seeing any action again) I'm gunna go with another RPM rear A-arm, hopefully i can get it for free with RPM's warranty. but im gunna go aluminum on all four corners for carriers, and caster blocks. it will help in handling too. those Five minutes i got out of it tho...whew..thats the fastest ive driven an RC. quite intense.
