i want to change the tires on my slayer and i was thinking about the new sc8 tires... if i change the hub for a 17mm hex, will it fit?

That should work. I haven't done it personally, but the offset seems to be the same as 1/8th buggy which people have done that without any problems.

ok thanks Rob, I am going to my lhs this afternoon, i will order a set I should race next summer against SC8 and truggy since we should not be enough with CORR truck, My slayer will be smaller but i think that with a set of swaybar and P3 rockers it should be able to fit in this group!

I mounted a set of Proline Switches to my Traxxas Slayer rims by cutting the inside bead of the tire to match the rim,They work very well and look good,much better than the sc8 tires in my opinion.I ran my E-Slayer at SRS in Scottsdale today and it was very hooked up.
