A spool with a high power setup will spin out real easily. you can change out the gear oil to a higher weight and go from there.

50,000 or more diff lube (Ofna) or a super thick silicone grease!

I have a HR spool on the way for my slash. I think that unless your running a nuts lipo/BL setup a spool will help heaps in certain surfaces (like gravel, hard dry clay) I get one wheel unloading big time when i'm in the dirt causing a spin. Although high traction areas will not benefit a locked rear, you will get massive front end push, I think low traction will improve greatly. Anyway I'll let you know when I get mine in!

in mud and sand the Spool works good, when one wheel is in the Air you can put more power on the ground with the other wheel in this time!
on two wheel is the greatest^^

Badhorsie.com diff lock, 50,000 or higher diff lube from Ofna. The lube will seep out after time, the bad horsie stuff is like white silicone (really thick) and will need to be re-packed after the first run. Then it should be fine for a couple of race days till needed a re-pack.
