Updated MIP C-CVD™s Constant Velocity Drives! New design features Red Capture Ring to hold in the coupling pins...no more thread lock....no more set screws! Just insert the pin through the bone and coupling/axle assembly, then slide the ring over the threads on the bell of the bone and screw it on. Easy! Technical Information: A)15% larger shaft diameter for today’s high demand power systems. B)Hardened, high Strength Allow Axles, black oxide coated. C)Threaded-on RED Capture Ring to ensure proper placement of cross pin. D)100% Quality Made in the USA. #08106 MIP C-CVD™ Kit for Slash, Nitro Rustler, Nitro Stampede $42.50

Finally......
The MIP CVDs were crap for the Nitro Rustler trucks for the longest time. Good to see these fit Slash too.

i just installed these the other night and had a quick question
in the instructions it says to keep the original shims on the bearing carriers but i actually had remove the thinner shim to be able to install the retaining pin for the hex
anyone else come across this issue? am i just makeing too big of a deal over a useless shim?

Just go over your installation and make sure everything was done right. If so, go ahead and remove it as long as there isnt any play or anything.
