ok ive heard the advantage of having a mamba max 4600 is that it can take a 4s lipo. im looking at getting a mamba max and im trying to decide between 4600 and 5700 with only a 3 cell the 5700 is faster but with a 4cell the 4600 would be fastest im wondering if the 4cell would work with a slash and if anyone has ever tried it?

It would be a waste of money.
A Slash on 3s Lipo is uncontrollable, especially with the 2wd. There would be no reason to have a 4s in there honestly. I know you want the fastest, but trust me, there is something as too much power and that would be it.
A 2s Lipo and a BL system like the 4600kv Castle System is perfect for the Slash IMO. That is what I run and its still hard to control at times.
