I fried my sidewinder in my efirestorm and had to use my slash in 2wd mod/open C class. i pulled the replacement 15t i had in it, out and used a 15t reedy quad mag,2 spacers on the rear shocks, 1 on the fronts, stock shock oils all round, stock front tires and proline truck steppins on hpi 2.0 ralley rims for the rears. and a check point 5400 li-po. i ran 11 laps and finnished 3rd. might of got 1st but i crashed a few times.lol i didnt finnish the last race because i forgot to check the brushs after each race.lol it was fun as hell passing race trucks that had brushless power.

I swapped out the reedy quad mag15x2 for a venom fireball 15x2, it did well in the first race but in the 2nd the windings inside let go, and i dnf. i replaced it with a orion 17x2 cuz its all i got left, till the tekin slash combo comes in from amain hobbies. my front shocks blew out so i refilled em with 40wt. sounds like its time to regrease the diff or make it fluid. as for beating people with brushless setups, lol i think its just the tires evening out the odds at our track
