Got a slash last week. Moved the front shocks out. Front shock oil 55wt, rear shock oil 40wt and additional rear shock limiters. Moved rear body mounts up. -2 or -3 degree camber up front little less out back. Toe out on front, toe in on rear. Added 4 oz of rear weight under the esc Flipped ESC 180 deg, cut the motor leads and soldered directly to motor 4600mah, 7 cell max amps nimh battery, ill get a 2cell lipo soon and switch over to my Futaba 3pm. I am going to have to put top soil on the track. Where i live has lots of gravel in the soil. Super loose track right now. Took about 2 hours to make with a small tracked excavator. Triangle shaped with a couple of switchbacks in the middle for the short course and a larger triangle around that on the other side. Still need to make some more sweet jumps. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDgf8jBF1m4www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld743MvmKKY

Well there is River Valley Raceway out on Zero, but after the first of the year we won't be allowed to run there. The new owner is a dick. As long as you'll be up for Christmas and the weather is good we should be ok to use it. There were about 8 of us there today, I ran the Slash til the stock motor croaked, then fired up the E-Revo for a bit...

Wont be able to practice anytime you want or cant run slashes? Is that the only track? Grand Slam no more? I have been over there in forever though.

Nah, nothing at all after the first of the year. The lease will run out then. The new owner has started pushing us out already. He reopened the driving range and put up a fence that really reduced the parking area at the track....anyway, it's still called Grand Slam, but the track isn't really part of it anymore....up until the first anybody can run on it, but you have to park on the concrete outside the fence. Hit me up here when you get to town...
