I just recieved the April 09 issue of RC Car Action and they have a Test Drive article on page 76.
I haven't read the article, but I have looked at the Plus/Minus section and they say the only minus was that it has to be built.
One of the plus's that will upset some Slash owners is that they say the SC10 is as durable as they come.
I can't wait to read the article.

In the rc car action article, they say they used the LRP x11 spec motor, but which one? Looked pretty good the way that was set up so we could use that as a good baseline for speed. I am not educated in brushless, and don't want to guess.

there is no way its as strong as the slash, just look at the swing arms. and even the neck of the chasis is tiny. i would demolition them, the slash would own
