Battery for slash...

I'm running a 7.2V Ni-Mh 3600Mah Duratrax battery and my Slash is pretty slow with that.....

What battery do you guys run?

any recommendations for a decent battery that would give me some more speed and power??

a lipo or 7 or 8 cell will have more power.
I got a checkpoint 5400 lipo and a tekin 3400 lipo both work well but i need a better motor

i use a reedy 5000 mah 2s lipo on a stock slash,big difference in performance,just make sure if using a lipo to watch your run-time the stock esc does not have a low voltage cut-off.I usually stop at around 20 min of use to be on the safe side.
