make sure your slipper is adj properly, tighten all the way down then losen one full turn,go over all the screws and also recommend filling the gap on the spur gear cover with tape to keep dirt out, learned this on youtube video or you can buy aftermarket gear cover from RPM.If you plan on running on the street more, adj your suspension for street use instructions in the manuel. There is a thread someone here started about the front and rear hinge pins binding up,with the tires off the front and and rear o the truck and the shocks un-attached the a-arms should move freely and when pushed up should fall down on its own, basically remove the hinge pins and pollished them and then using a drill bit the same size as the hinge pins using the back end of the bit installed in a dremel carefully ream out the a-arms holes till hinge pin moves freely being really carefull not to remove to much material, this mod has really made a difference in the way my slash's suspension operates, where before doing this mod i would push down on the suspension and it wouldnt rebound as much and now rebounds smoothly. Also check to see if your tires are balanced, mine werent and the truck shook quite a bit when watching it go down the road so i balanced them by installing each tire to the front axle and checking for balance and used non-drying modeling clay how ever much it takes to the inside rim opposite the end of the weighted part, learned this on youtube also.Hope this isnt to much and enjoy your slash.

Definitely want to install silicone in the diff.to help the back wheels to hook up evenly30,000-50,000 Wt.Its very easy. Also you can raise your rear camber link on the rear shock tower. There is a hole there already, youll just have to dremmel away some of the shock tower so the raised link has proper clearance. There is a great article in Extreme RC in Jan.09 issue with a bunch of mods including how to seal your diff. when you silicone it ,as the silicone will fly out eventually if you dont seal it.
