Not sure if this has been posted but my tires were way out of balance,Noticed it right away when watching it go down the road, the front tires jumping and the body shaking like crazy and when i held the truck and hit the throttle the back end would shake pretty bad.So my solution was to balance them using this real tacky putty i have for shooting pellets into and sticking it into the inner wheels, this stuff never dries and is super dense and heavy.Using the front axle as the balancing tool i got all my tires balanced and oh what a difference it made.Truck is so much smoother now.

Former Losi driver Matt Francis uses his chewing gum when he is at the track. Ive seen him do it!! It works well too.

My first Slash's tires were off balance as well, but my second one had a set that was near perfect. Only one wheel was off balance.

My guess would be the tires. I don't think the foams are that heavy to make them off balance by that much.

Every front left tire I have had is bad and I have seen a few rears that are very noticable at VXL lipo speeds.

What is the process for balancing tires? How do you know where and how much weight to add? I use a airplane prop balancer, i put the shaft in there and let the tire roll til it stops. all the weight is on the bottom, i use a silver sharpy to mark the top of the tire, take it off and i use modelng clay. pull some off, doesnt matter, just grab some and put it below the shapy mark you made. put it back on the balancer, and see what happens. if the shapry mark is still at the top, apply more till it turns nice and free. i did my slash and WOW what a differance, 2 were real bad, the other 2 not as bad. hope this helps

both of my back tires get really bad... idk why they do that but ive had 2 sets and they get wack. but with my local track there is a jump that is just a lil to far for the slash. but you HAVE to jump it. so? could it be from casing the landing?
