What problem did you have with the motor. What fuel and was it too lean? Give some more details and I will try to help you figure out why the 3.3 blew. I have to say those are great motors. Can be a little hard to tune but they scream for a RTR motor.

Many times motor failure is due to operator error. Was this your first Nitro?
The Slayer is a solid platform, especially since its basically a Revo which is a proven truck in and out. Do the Traxxas ERP plan and get a new one.

Well it wont start and when you turn over the piston there are about 6 clicks and it wont start so i dont know what to do. I used traxxas 20% gas. No this was not my first nitro.

Do you need someone to take a look at the motor for you. Most likley it is a broken rod. Might just be something very simple. The 3.3 is a good motor.

I have a 2.5 revo (alot of stuff is the same as the slayer i might convert it to a slayer) and it is solid just becuz u had a motor die on you doesn't mean that the "Traxxas slayer sucks!!!" it is solid .
