new to the site

hi all i have been running rc cars trucks electric gas for years started at 10 with my dad 30 years ago, in and out of the hobby but it looks like i am back in this time with my 12 year old son. we ran schmaucher mi3s for a while along with gas dirt track cars for a while untill it got so out of hand with outhers at track, i do not see any reason for my son to be on the drivers stand listining to 50 year olds throwing out the fu-- word because my so laped them. so we sold all got out just was not family fun any more. then in november we got a axial to run in yard that turned into a tamiya cr01 to build while recovering from knee surgury,then the slash was seen by my son so we got one. last week a friend talked us into going to a track to race (not ready to get around idiots again) guess what it was a family ran family fun track what a blast seeing my son smile from ear to ear running the slash on a dirt track,he won the b main and was bumped into a main were he placed 4 th not bad for a 12 year old that never ran a dirt track with jumps and has not ran for about 2 years looking forward to getting to know everyone on the site. i am starting a side business airbrushing bodies, i am in the process of trying to be a site sponcer, and my web site is being built as i right this,i will do some type of give away for a body once i get settled. if any one needs help or advice please do not hesatate to ask thanks for your time

welcome. sorry to hear that you had to leave that track, i cant believe 50 year olds would say that espeacially around kids like me. glad to hear youre back in the racing scene though.

[glow=red,2,300]Not sure what track puts up with 50yr old that act like that you should have spoke with race director , officer , the owner but don't let some one or one's turn you & your family away from the hobby[/glow] We have a track and friends & family & THE KIDS is what it all about. Most ALL track I have ever been a guest at do not allow that and should not it bad for business we want every one to have fun and come back and bring friends... Hope you & your family are having a great time at your local track this race season and will want to come back more & more..... For the most part RC has some really good guys , girls , kids & family doing this hobby.... ;D ;D
