One of our members titaniumxrc makes these killer titanium tie bars for the Slash / Stampede trucks and sent me one to review for you guys. I recieved the tie bar in a small plastic baggy, no need for much packaging when your talking titanium First thing I did was remove the front bumper, this made it much easier to remove the old tie bar and get the new one on. The only other preparation I needed to do was to remove the e-clips holding on the stock tie bar. I then held up the new titanium one, but realized the holes were just a tad too small to fit, so I had to drill out the holes to be just a hair larger, no big deal and took less then 3 minutes. From then on it was a perfect fit. I slided the tie bar on, installed the e-clips and was all finished. This new tie bar not only gives you a nice look (especially with the SFR screw kit ) , but will hold up to some serious bashing / racing abuse. After the install was final, I took it out for a nice beating. I ran head on into a tree 2 times, cartwheeled the truck, and almost everything else you could throw at it in your backyard and on the track I did. This thing is TOUGH and I recommend it to anybody. ** I would like to add that titaniumxrc told me ahead of time that these are homeade and not stamped out to exact measurements like many other larger scale companies. I feel this is a great product and would happily buy from the smaller guy over the bigger anyday
