Actually I think Thunder Tiger Started it. Robitronic had the 8th Scale nitro. Losi Made the LDT which is baisically just another XXT with a new body and new tires, and Traxxas made the beast called Slash which we all love. Now Associated? Who next HPI? Lol. Seems this summer is a big summer for off-road racing style trucks. The front end looks similar to Slash from what I see.

me too. its awesome. never owned an associated but this will be my first.
oh, btw my first ever nitro was a mugen 1/8 truggy with its wheels underneath the ivan stuart replica body. tat was like 10 years ago now... i think they were first...

Pretty awesome to see AE getting in the game now. Im sure it will be sweet and the FT version if they have one will be ever sweeter.

thunder tech did come out with the first corr style truck but is not out yet i dont think but is been anonced sice 07 but its a 600$ kit

i hope that this class gets more popular than the buggies and truggies; thoes races are still really cool though
