i am running a mamba 5700 with a max amps lipo and spektrum dx 2. it has been running great with no issues, then i recharged my pack today and it started to glitch on start. it doesnt matter if i ease into the throttle or go full throttle right away. the battery is good, i have a capacitor on the receiver already, checked all the solder and it is good. i am at a loss. if anyone has had this problem or knows what else to check please let me know.

a cap on the receiver? I know of on the motor and them being on a speed control , but one on a receiver is weird! I'd go after the receiver first and then the speed control. Is more steering glitch or throttle or both? I think receiver. Do you have any shock protection under the receiver & speed? Not just double sided tape either, Like: double sided tape, 1/16 foam, double sided tape?

some ESC's dont provide enough power to the receiver and under certain condictions (ex. full throttle, a battery pack that is not up to par, or using a high amp draw servo) all the power will be sent to the motor and none to the receiver to power it. the capacitor will give the receiver just enough power not to turn off for that split second (in theory)...
as for the glitching... try connecting it to the computer and up-date it and reprogram it. .

i am still at a loss, spoke with castle and maxamps today and they said it was the motor start-up setting so i changed it and it got even worse. i am starting to think it is my battery, or my esc, but both are nearly new, only 5 to 7 runs on them. i will have to try running some of my buddies batteries and esc. i will definitely be adding some foam padding between the frame and esc though, that is a very good idea.

glitching was not the correct term it is actually cogging, the steering is un-affected.
