My Slash...

Figured I might as well make a post here....

Well I got tired of my Slash looking like everyone else's so I did something about it. My local Hobbytown finally got a Proline Hardcore body in so got it. Went with simple 2 tone paint job. I've got some sponsor decals on the way as it still looks kinda plain. Then needs some #'s on it. Painted the wheels black too...

Yum, a creamsicle, lol....looks good. How did you do the middle part of the wheels?

Basically just put masking tape covering the front part of the tire and wheel then took my x-acto knife and cut along the faux beadlock...came out pretty good. I did a test of it by painting the insides with a permanent marker first to see how I liked it on 2 rims. Seems the paint covered better on those 2 than the 2 that I didnt...Other pair took a couple more coats...Probably should have primed them first...

i just painted my Hardcore the same orange but still working on it. Its also going to be two tone, orange and yellow. Nice and bright. Il like your paint job!
