awesome truck, but what about the rear bumper? is it because you are using the integy gearbox case? looks good anyway

well today after work i run it hard with the 3s venom its just crazzy i love it. stuck the 2s back in and it felt slow .anyway soon after i lost all drive ,thinking i had blown the diff i striped it down only to find nothing wrong ?? hu then i checked the steel driveshalfs i cut and shunt ,all good there? .then i found it ! harhar a 1 plastic hex drive had rounded off ;D ok heres a good time to fit the diff spool anyonw tryed one yet ? made by h/t racing atm i am runing 50,000 w diff oil and it still spinns one well out of tight cornners .also the best rear tire/wheel comb i have found that fitts under the body hooks up realy well and look great are the traxxas2.2, 8 hole rears /proline dirtworks, perfict fit and with the 3s i could steer it and drive it on loose verry fine gravel with out too much problem, on hard packed wet clay thay would work well

I tried a spool in mine, and on the track it made the truck a handful! Now bashing may be another story. ;D

your right rob, ;D she is real hand full on the lose fine dirt grave was out of control. so i changed the gearing from 23/91 to 26/76 , the 2s lipo was like a 3s almost, temp was up , so i let it cool for 10min ,then stuck the 3s in it and it burn the motor instantly. so i wait for a another vxl to show in the post ,i am going to try this xcelorin 8.5t 3640kv sensored brushless motor .very close kv too the vxl.+i will run it of the vxl speedy as it has sensor input

well the xcelorin is in and i just took out on the road for some speed runs and i tell you this motor feels just as good as the vxl i changed the gearing again to 24/86 it was 23/91 the diff spool made the car twist and pull to one side when i nailed it so i think i will remove it, to much sidway action on the dirt.....harhar i

Today i run 2x3s and 3x2s lipos through the slash . the new donk seem good . i did have one break these integy shocks are rubbish and have given me nothing but trouble , first the shocks pull the ends off so i fitted alloy ones .now its snaped the shock shafts.i even had rubber bump stops fitted so i fitted the stock ones back in the front to keep me going! why would it do that? i tell you why the shafts travel to far up in the shock body when you compress the shock the shalf travels right up past the start of the thread.,the shafts are to short!
