I sure hope AE copy's the Slashs specs to a tee,I'm really concerned that they won't and this might kill the Slash craze,
What I'm trying to say is that if the AE truck can't run in the Slash class,I think most tracks will just drop the class all together, rather then starting an other one just for AE trucks and what ever else comes out in the near future
And the same for after market parts, like tire's and wheels,if AE go's to a different size tire wheel, company's like Proline might say screw-it,it costs big bucks to make those molds, but if they where the same size I would think companies Like Proline would really start cranking out some new products
Just a couple of thought's that have been bothering me,what do you guy's think?

not really a fact.if more racers show up with somthing different a class will be created.if the ae truck is the same they run together.the only thing that would kill the class is if people stop racing them.and as far as aftermarket, that all depends on sells.if a kit hits 1 million sells then youve got 1 million potential sells.thats the way that works.

The truck is so hot that people will race them. Its only been out 2 months now and look how big they are. Just wait till the after market goes nuts.

i kinda agree with therealdeal on this one. in the regular two wheel drive class you got rustlers and firestorms and rc10's and whatever else is out there. and just like real CORR you got chevys and ford and toyotas and nissans. so, it would be nice to see a couple differnt makes out on the track. see how well the stack up against eachother. if theres a slash class at a track, i dont think they should ban the guy with the AE from the race. it would be interesting to see a couple differnt companies running out on the track. (and some bragging rights to boot)

Yeah... but thats only if others follow suit as far as truck specs to make the class.

I also hope it is somewhat along with the specs of the Slash, would be fun to have another contender in the racing. A 4wd one would be sweet too, but I'll want one to bad, so I vote no to them making it

Yup, the aftermarket rules - people luv to tinker, and when the hop-up parts companies become involved all it does is increase interest by the end-user. Only thing that will KILL this truck and this class are so many of the guys on other DBs defending the right to keep this a SPEC CLASS. Spec classes have been tried and failed miserably on so many levels with so many vehicles it just blows me away that nobody sees it, except those that are defending the right to start a class they can actually win at (I guess). ~~~~~~ run what cha brung and hope it's enough

i wish that either traxxas made their slayer a littler bigger or that ae would have made their sc8 smaller, so finally traxxas can compete with them in a race for once. all you see are either ae, losi, kyosho products competing. At least the slash and slayers have their own class now.
