Remove nitro junk Turn your center diff assembly around leaving the chassis spacer plate in stock location. Use rc-monster RC8 motor plate The spur gear clears fine so don't worry about any clearence issues. This setup leaves plenty of motor room, and allows 2 batteries to even out the weight. The cage clears fine, had to drill 3 holes for battery holders, 1 was there just countersunk deeper. My brother inlaws ride...    |

what electronics are gonna be run? esc motor batt's etc..... that is a clean conversion!

Castle BEC Castle Mamba Max (2) 2s 25c 4500 packs in series 2200kv motor Stock AE metal gear servo Futaba 2pl for the radio, for some reason we cannot get the AE radio to work with the mamba. Motor finally arrived, should be test run this week ;D |

Cant wait to see this thing going. Im doing a conversion on my Hyper 7 right now and its killing me being up here at college, not being able to put it together!

Futaba 2pl for the radio, for some reason we cannot get the AE radio to work with the mamba You have to reverse the throttle channel on all futaba radios to set up castle esc had to do it to my 3pk and 3pm  |

I have the futaba programmed and working fine, it was the AE SC8 stock radio that was grief. I sent the radio in to Castle, let them see if they can get it going then tell me how, and they can document it for the next guy.  |
