Well I have decided to convert my Hyper 7 over BL. I got a job on campus now and am earning some extra money so I think I am going to go ahead on a conversion. This wont be a buy everything and slap it on project, it will probably take a little while to complete due to not being home too much. My conversion list I have made so far- Zippy 4s 5000mah lipo Castle Creations MM ESC w/ BEC Feigao 8xl , 9xl, or 10xl Novak BL conversion kit Here is the Hyper as it sits now... I will hopefully be home this coming weekend and get it all stripped down.   |

I converted my RC8 over to a BL/Lipo set up and it was INSANE!
IMO, ditch the Feigao and look at a Neu motor or one of the new machine wound Neu motors that Castle is now selling. Another great option is the 60mm motors from Medusa Research.
Look for something in the 2000 KV range and you'll be golden.

If I had that kind of money to spend I would, but Im in college so a tight budget is what Im working with right now.

I can understand that. But the Medusa motors are pretty affordable ($120.00) and if you use the buggy much, you will be replacing the Feigao.
Better to buy the better equipment once IMO.

When I come to buying the motor we'll see how much I have, but I will still probably go with the Feigao. I know a couple guys on another forum that have used and abused theres with no problems.
