New indoor track in Port Huron Michigan

My brother and I just got done building a indoor track this week. It's located in Port Huron at a place called the extreme sports dome.

We were asked to build 2 tracks in one. A oval with jump sections built in the infield area. The track can be switched from the 2 layouts with just a couple of minor tubing changes. The track was built on an angle to hep with visibility. The pics don't show it very well but the back straight is built 5ft above the floor. They with run nitro and electric.

Wow that is pretty sweet, Ive never seen an RC track under a dome before.

I know of some oval racers that are going love that dirt oval.

Went there and practiced today, track was a blast! Cool part was you could watch some MX practice while you waited for packs to charge.

Sadly, I am sure they will complain its not butter smooth and not race there. Oh well there loss. Its a nice facility.

Looks like the track needs more lighting though? Or is it just the pictures?

I didn't think it was all that bright in there. Probably would have problems with real small detail work in the pit area that needs light. But the track was cool. The big double in the middle was alot of fun but almost to big for slash, and the corner coming into it was doing a lot of counter steering and sliding around it. I don't know how many times I went end over end on it usually ended up back on the wheels.

a lot of it is the pictures. I didn't think it was too dark in there, but I had a bright green body on my B4 with white wheels, it was hard not to see it lmao.
